First, the application is heavily tied to your Instagram. So every person that you’ve actually ever blocked on Instagram is also going to be blocked on threads.

It’s also important to note that if you’ve ever restricted an account on your Instagram, those accounts are also restricted on threads so If they actually comment on your threads, you’re going to have to manually approve those comments and if you never see those comments, then they never go public which I think is fantastic.

I’ve also realised how addictive this Application is and It’s significantly more addictive than Twitter. So it makes sense that Uncle Zuck actually included an option to get reminders to take breaks. So you can actually set reminders of 10 minutes, 20 minutes or 30 minutes to remind you that you need to take a break from the application.

Which if you’re somebody who is already addicted it probably doesn’t help you because you can simply click not now and continue to use the application.

Currently though, there is no way to get a feed of only the people you’re following. Everyone is mostly seeing random threads at this point. Hashtags do not currently work. The quality of videos that you post on threads are actually really really good and the photos as well.

On a personal note though, I think I prefer the way threads goes about this conversation thing because Inside of your threads that you create, other people can actually respond to it and create other threads which you can simply get lost in and it just makes the application significantly more addictive.
