So if you ever consider to buy a used iPhone, this is one of the things you definitely need to check before buying.
On the used phone you are buying, dial *#06#. You’ll get the device Info
–Take a screenshot of this or snap this with a different phone.
— In photos, tap this sign here,
— Tap and hold the IMEI number and
— Tap on Copy.
— Go to your browser and type imeicheck.com.
— Tap on Check IMEI
You’ll see a lot of information about the phone including the color of the phone, the serial number, whether the device is replaced or not and most importantly whether the phone is logged or unlocked.
And of course you need to also check a lot of other things including how the iPhone physically looks, the battery health among a lot of others.
