Banks Now Charge Electronic Money Transfer Levy Of #50 On Anyone Receiving Bank Transfer
If you’re in Nigeria and you make bank transfers online, this update Is for you.
Recall that when you make transfers to another commercial bank, you’ll be charged some fees. The new update is that If you’re also receiving money transfered into your bank account, you’ll be charged a sum of #50 (Fifty Naira).
This new charge is called Electronic Money Transfer Levy.
If you do not have anything in your account and you want to transfer urgent 2K to someone, It’s advisable that you add a sum of #100 for the receiver.
