If you’re an Android user and you still use apps like Xender to send files to other Android phones then you may want to consider this.
Today we’re talking about Nearby Share, which is like Android’s version of AirDrop.
So say for example you want to send an image to another Android phone.
— You hit the Share Icon and among the options you should see Nearby Share.
— Click that and it will start looking for nearby devices.
— On the receiving device, turn on nearby share and change the visibility to everyone.
You should now see the receiving device pop up.
— Tap on it and it will send the image.
You can share photos, videos, and even apps with this. You can also download nearby share on your Windows laptop and share files between your phone and your laptop.
