Here is the latest scam presently in Nigeria. This scam is actually related to the latest network which is the 5G network.
These scammers will call you and also tell you that there is a way they could help you upgrade your sim card network to the latest 5G network, Which we also know that the only way you could upgrade your sim card network to the latest 5G network is by going to the nearby store of your network provider.
With the aim of scamming you, these guys will now send you an OTP code and also ask you to send them back this same OTP code. Eventually if you send them back this OTP code, these guys will be able to wipe out all the money in your bank account.
If you are having any issues with your SIM Card, always try to go to the nearby store for advice. Do not seek advice from anybody who calls you.
